The Best Stand-Up Comedy Shows in Dubai This Week

Published: June 2, 2026 | Updated Every Monday | Mad Cat Comedy

If you’re in Dubai this week and you’re looking for something worth leaving the house for, this is your answer. Every Monday, Mad Cat Comedy publishes this guide so you always know exactly where the laughs are — and how to get a seat before the room fills up.

Dubai’s live comedy calendar is busier than it’s ever been. Shows are running Tuesday through Saturday across multiple venues, from Abu Dhabi to Dubai Silicon Oasis to the waterfront at Al Seef. Whether you’re a first-timer or a regular who’s been coming since the early days, here’s everything on this week, broken down night by night.

Tuesday — The Comedy Lab | Easy Tiger, Abu Dhabi

Mad Cat Comedy’s Abu Dhabi residency has quietly become one of the most anticipated nights on the UAE comedy calendar. Easy Tiger is the kind of venue that makes a comedy show feel like it was made for exactly this — intimate enough that the comedian can make eye contact with the back row, relaxed enough that the crowd loosens up fast.

The Comedy Lab format is straightforward: a tight lineup of four to five acts, hosted by Miqdaad Dohadwala, with sets that rotate every week. What that means in practice is that even if you came last month, you’re seeing a completely different show. The material is new, the order is different, and the crowd energy shifts every single time.

Abu Dhabi audiences tend to be slightly different from Dubai crowds — a bit more mixed in terms of where people are from, a little warmer in the room. If you’ve only ever done the Dubai shows, it’s worth the drive.

Venue: Easy Tiger, Abu Dhabi

Time: 8:00 PM

Tip: This one sells out. Book the same day you decide to go.

Thursday — The Comedy Lab | Radisson Red, Dubai Silicon Oasis

The Thursday show at Radisson Red Dubai Silicon Oasis has built a loyal crowd fast, and it’s not hard to see why. DSO is one of those parts of Dubai that doesn’t always make the “things to do” lists — but the comedy night has changed that for a lot of residents who were tired of having to drive to TECOM or Al Seef every weekend just to see a decent show.

The Radisson Red is the right kind of room for stand-up. Good sightlines, a bar that’s doing its job without competing for attention, and an audience that comes specifically to laugh rather than to be seen. The Comedy Lab format here pulls from the same rotating pool of Mad Cat’s best performers, with sets that are tighter and more focused mid-week than some of the bigger weekend shows.

If you live in DSO, Mirdif, or anywhere on the eastern side of Dubai, this is your show. Stop commuting across the city for a comedy night when there’s one this good on your doorstep.

Venue: Radisson Red, Dubai Silicon Oasis

Time: 8:00 PM

Friday — Politically Incorrect Comedy | Xandros, Dubai

This is the one. Mad Cat Comedy’s Politically Incorrect Comedy night is the flagship show, and it has been since the beginning. If you’ve never been to a Mad Cat show before, this is where you start.

The name tells you what you need to know about the philosophy, but it doesn’t quite capture what the experience actually feels like in the room. This isn’t shock comedy for the sake of it. The comedians on the Politically Incorrect lineup are genuinely skilled performers who happen to work without a safety net — no pre-approved list of acceptable topics, no corporate filter, no performance designed to offend nobody and therefore move nobody. It’s real stand-up, which means it’s sometimes uncomfortable, often surprising, and consistently one of the best two hours you’ll spend in Dubai.

Hosted by Miqdaad Dohadwala, Friday nights typically feature four to six acts — a mix of Dubai’s most reliable regulars alongside newer faces who’ve earned their spot on the lineup through the open mics and workshops. The crowd is as diverse as Dubai itself: expats from every corner of the world, long-term residents, first-timers on a recommendation from a friend, tourists who stumbled across the listing and made the best decision of their trip.

Dress code is whatever you’re comfortable in. The only thing expected of you is that you’re present and ready to laugh.

Venue: Xandros, Dubai

Time: 8:30 PM

Tip: Friday sells out faster than any other night. Book Thursday at the latest.

Saturday — Joke Hub | Skafos at Canopy by Hilton, Al Seef

If Friday is the flagship, Saturday at Al Seef is the experience. The Joke Hub running at Skafos inside Canopy by Hilton Dubai Al Seef sits right on the Dubai Creek waterfront, which means you’re getting one of the best locations in the city paired with one of the best comedy lineups in the UAE. That combination is hard to beat.

The show runs every Saturday through the end of June, from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Tickets start at AED 85 and include two F&B coupons — making this one of the best-value nights out in Dubai at any price point, let alone that one. Arrive by 8:00 PM for the smoothest experience; the room is set up in a way that rewards getting there early with better seats and a chance to settle in with a drink before things kick off.

The Joke Hub format features a rotating cast of local comedians, which keeps the show feeling genuinely fresh week to week. The room is smaller and more intimate than a theatre show, and that intimacy is exactly what makes it work — performers and audience are in the same energy together in a way that just doesn’t happen when you’re watching someone on a stage fifty metres away.

After the show, the Al Seef promenade is right there. It’s one of the few comedy nights in the city where the whole evening — pre-show walk, show, post-show drinks on the creek — feels like a properly designed night out rather than just an event you attended.

Venue: Skafos, Canopy by Hilton Dubai Al Seef, Al Seef Street, Umm Hurair 1

Time: 8:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Tickets: From AED 85 | Book on Platinumlist

Tip: Arrive by 8:00 PM. Seating fills quickly and the front rows go first.

What Makes Mad Cat Comedy Different From Every Other Night Out in Dubai

Dubai has no shortage of things to do on a weekend. Brunches, rooftop bars, beach clubs, restaurant openings, DJ nights — the city generates entertainment options at a pace that would exhaust most cities in the world. And most of it is fine. Professionally executed, visually impressive, reliably forgettable.

Live stand-up comedy is different in a specific way that’s hard to articulate until you’ve experienced it. A brunch will be the same brunch next weekend. A DJ set follows the same arc it followed last month. A Mad Cat Comedy show will never be repeated — not the exact crowd, not the exact energy, not the exact jokes. Every room is a live negotiation between the comedian and the audience, and what comes out of that negotiation is unrepeatable.

Mad Cat Comedy has been building that experience in Dubai for over a decade. Founded by Miqdaad Dohadwala with the single goal of creating real, consistent stage time for the UAE’s best comedians, it has grown from small independent shows into the most active stand-up comedy platform in the country. Multiple nights a week. Multiple venues. A community of regulars and a constant stream of first-timers who can’t quite believe they hadn’t done this sooner.
